BlackBerry Curve 8520



The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is a smartphone that utilizes the GSM Quad-band network bandwidth (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and supports GPRS/EDGE data transfer rates. The smartphone is powered by a lithium-ion battery, and supports a 320 x 240 pixels TFT display screem, a 2.0-megapixel resolution camera with digital zoom, multimedia playback for video in MPEG4, WMV, H.263 and Media Player format as well as music playback for MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, WAV and AMR file format. The smart phone runs BlackBerry operating system and is powered by a 512 MHz processor with 128 MB RAM / 256 MB ROM memory capacity. Memory can be expanded via a microSD card slot. The phone also supports predictive text input, a full QWERTY keyboard, connectivity to the internet via the BlackBerry Browser as well as RSS news feed on its 802.11b/802.11g WiFi connection, synchronization of data via a microUSB port as well as Bluetooth support. The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is a smartphone that features a 320 by 240 resolution TFT display screen that allows users to view photos captured by the phone or video playback in MPEG4 and Windows Media Video format. The smartphone also allows users to navigate through its functions via the BlackBerry operating system that is supported by up to 128 MB of RAM and 256 MB ROM memory. It features a full QWERTY keyboard that facilitates texting and emailing for users via the phone’s wireless Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g connectivity. The smartphone also features a 2.0-megapixel camera that allows users to capture images and share them with friends and family via MMS and emails. There is also the BlackBerry Browser installed in the phone that allows users to surf the internet for information, and an RSS new feed function to keep users up to date with the latest news online. The smartphone is also a Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® enabled handset with 256MB flash memory, a 3.2 MP digital camera with video camera, Multimedia player, Wireless email, Organizer and Browser. The Blackberry Bold 9700 also supports SMS and MMS messaging, as well as a MicroSD card reader. It measures 109 mm (4.29 inches) by 60 mm (2.36 inches) by 14.1 mm (0.56 inches) and weighs 122 grams / 4.30 ounces (including battery). The handset is powered by a 1500 mAh removable/rechargeable cryptographic Lithium cell battery that provides users with up to 6 hours (GSM and UMTS) of talk time and up to 21 days/504 hours (GSM)/ 17 days/408 hours (UMTS) of standby time. Music Playback Time on a single charge is up to 38 hours.

It has up to 256 MB Built-in memory with expandability via microSD card, tone, vibrate, on-screen or LED indicator; user configurable notification options and 32 Polyphonic Ringtones (MIDI, SP-MDI, MP3, WAV). The Blackberry Bold 9700 supports Bluetooth® v2.1 technology for Mono/Stereo Headset, Handsfree function, Serial Port Profile, Audio (A2DP/AVCRP) and SIM Access Profile. The handset also provides users with added security via password protection, screen lock and sleep mode. It allows users to stay connected online via its Wi-Fi® 802.11 b/g connectivity with WPA, WPA2, WMM, WMM Power Save, Wi-Fi Protected Setup, and Cisco CCX certification.
